TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) -- A man died after he was critically injured in a shooting in Tampa on Sunday.
Tampa police said a man in his 30s was found shot on Whittier Street, just north of 28th Avenue, at around 6 a.m. The man died on Tuesday.
A preliminary investigation found that two vehicles in the area were shot and two parties may have exchanged gunfire. Investigators urge anyone near the 3600 block of Whittier Street to check their security camera footage from between 5:45 a.m. and 6:15 a.m. on Sunday.
"Any recordings, no matter how minor they may seem, could be vital to investigators and help bring those responsible to justice," a TPD news release said.
