TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) -- Another summer day with hot temps and scattered afternoon storms in the forecast.

Rain chances today and Friday will be a little higher than they have been with a better coverage of rain expected.

Storms develop a little earlier along the coast midday and move inland this afternoon before meandering back toward the coast this evening.

Rain chances come down slightly over the weekend, however spotty storms still develop each afternoon and will drift west each evening.

Temperatures will stay hot and humid, it is summer after all! Highs today and Friday will be in the low 90s and get even warmer over the weekend.
