CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) — Clearwater Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death in an apartment unit early Saturday morning.
Police said the incident happened a little after 5:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Granada Apartments on Kings Highway.
Clearwater Police and the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office surrounded the complex, working both inside one of the units and outside on the property.
Caution tape was placed around the complex, and detectives walked in and out of a unit on the second floor.
According to investigators, all parties involved in the case have been located, and detectives are still trying to put together what led up to the deadly shooting.
Clearwater Police said this is an ongoing investigation, and there is no threat to the public.
