OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — Idella Sherman had a special visitor who came to help her celebrate her 100th birthday, Okaloosa County Sheriff Eric Aden.
Video released by the sheriff's office shows the pair's heartwarming meeting as she's decked out in a tiara and birthday sash.
“Birthdays are special and 100-year birthdays surrounded by family, friends, and caretakers are something to truly celebrate!” the sheriff’s office wrote on Facebook.
Aden gave Idella a sheriff's star bumper sticker, telling her to put it on her back window so officers know not to pull her over.
Someone can be heard in the background asking, "Are you ready to go to jail?"
"No, not yet," Idella answered with a laugh.
