LOS ANGELES, Ca. (WFLA) — Beloved actress Betty White was celebrated by the U.S. Postal Service today with an unveiling of a new stamp issued at the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens.
Any recipient of the new Forever stamp will be greeted with White's face smiling back at them.
The release of the stamp marks the remembrance and honor of White and the impact her legacy leaves on American culture.
The stamp artist, Dale Stephanos, was also in attendance at the event to talk about how he garnered inspiration for the stamp design.
"This stamp is special because, let's face it, everyone loves Betty White," Stephanos said.
